Pick A Part (So.Cal.) is having a 50% off sale this Thursday through Sunday. The yard in Sun Valley (San Fernando Valley) has three Pinto's - all wagons. There is a '73 (light blue), a 78 (white, 80,000 miles) and the last one I didn't get the year (orange), but it is a "mid" style Pinto too. There was a Mustang II with a 3.00, 8" rearend. These are almost always taken, but it was still there as of 5:15 PM when I left. The Mustang II had nice, black seats too.
For those who have interest there were a number of Mavericks also (4 or 5). There is a rare, 69-70 (build) Maverick, 6 cylinder, A/C radiator fan that is in high demand by the Sunbean Tiger owners. I've been looking for 8 years now and scored one today. :)
Anyway, I thought I'd pass the information along.

Could you nab a couple of the rubber covers that go over the driver's side shock mount inside the engine bay for me? I'd like to put one on my car and keep one as a spare.
I'm also looking for a horn button for my Mustang II steering wheel. One that isn't to faded on the center red logo and still has the silver plastic around the fake hex screws.
Sorry Dave, I was there yesterday (Thursday). That is how I knew what was there. Unfortunately the yard is about 45 miles - one way from my home. So, I only get out there when an emergency arises or they have a 50% off sale.

Darn! It's cool. It's to bad I don't live near by. :P
