Title: Bonneville Salt Flats
Post by: Srt on September 06, 2008, 02:11:20 AM
Check it out:http://www.bonnevilleracing.com/

The video

I was  here for a few years;  one of them with a Pinto.  A rush effort had us (Stratton & I)  going just under 150, sideways through the 1st set of traps.

Sure would be nice to see another Pinto out on the Salt

i have been contacting everybody still alive (those that i can remember!) to see if there are any pictures. I can't find mine.  I KNOW they're somewhere here at home or in my storage area.  i just can't find them.

i have just a few options left, as far as pics go.  so many of the people involved seem to have disapppeared. i have a color photo about 18" x 30' of the car somewhere.  i just can't find it!

i'll tell you this though;  trundling along at 140 or so and getting hit in the a$$ with a surge of power that sends you 90 degrees to the left is more than a "little" exiteing!
