Title: just found a killer early pinto.
Post by: Pinturbo75 on September 04, 2008, 01:47:30 PM
its a light brown with vinyl and velour interior auto with factory aluminum slots all around in perfect shape and a tag from 1989 on it. the paint looks like you could wash it and buff it and it would look great. interior is fantastic with no tears anywhere. no rust to be seen anywhere on the body. i want it. badly. i bet its not for sale.... im gonna drive over in my pinto and try to talk him (or her) out of it. ill at least get pics for yall to see. this car looks amazing!!!

Yes, the sedans are easy to hide - the wagons aren't as easy  ::). Nice find, hope your wife is "reasonable" about it.

If its been sitting maybe you can sway her easily... Maybe she didnt think anyone would be interested in a pinto. It sounds like a solid car, cant wait for the pictures.

If she hasn't put a pan to your head already with all the thingies you have drug home, it aint gonna happen now. Dont drive your hot rod Pinto to look at it. Drive the truck and act like you know nothing about them. You just want it for good MPG and your folks had one when you were younger. Hell, your dad is still driving one.
