I was looking through some photos of the last West Coast meet at Knott's Berry Farm and discovered one that my Cousin Pintozeal took.

Here we have (Left to right) Tony, Me, Leonard, Rocky and Thomas. We all got together at 9pm, 12 hours before the car show the next day, to help Thomas fix a broken motor mount. Leonard, who we met a few hours before, started the task of getting the part ready while Tony and Rocky built a make shift table in my garage. Thomas and I got the welder ready that he bought an hour before. A couple hours later, the mount was welded and installed and allowed Thomas, who had been preparing his car for a week, to attend the show. If not for the combined efforts of the above people, he would have been left behind. That is why www.fordpinto.com exists. To help out the people who love these damn cars. It is NOT here for the whining & bitching of members who have nothing better to do. God bless this site and all the wonderful people I have met in the many years on this site.
Remember folks, helping each other is why we are here.
Thanks to everyone that has made this site what it is. This site is the reason these cars are still on the road.
Alberto (Pintopower)
WOW... Alberto...
I needed to hear that!
HERE HERE!!
X3!
Bill
I agree as well. I look to those here for Advice and ideas.
Honestly, I'd be next to clueless without this group. Having had three Pintos previous to this was fine, but having this group as a resource - priceless!!
Chris
Alberto,
Thank you for the kind words. Nice to hear. How in the world are you? WHen are you coming back to Tulsa? I think I know the answer to that one! LOL
Again, friends like you is why this site exists and why I support it.
Tell all the guys near you that I said hey!
Dave
PS. Did I miss Racer X's purple wagon in the CarBque post? I need to go look again.
In the photo, you named the person on the left as "Tony",... is that as in "Pintony"?
Alberto I agre 100% with you.
Leonard
P.S. Yes Ironman this Tony is Pintony.
Alberto,
I think that is one of the most eloquent posts I've ever read and I agree 100%.
Dwayne
I wish Pintony would get the problem fixed,
I loved his 1600 restoration. The guy has a lot of talent.
I wanted to see more of his "purple pinto" too.
Thanks guys. I am glad you all feel the same way that I do about this site.
Dave,
How the hell are you? I really did want to go to Tulsa this past year but instead I went to Germany and Italy to see family and equally important, the guys from one of the Fiat forums I belong to: www.ritmo-world.com. I will see you guys soon in Tulsa! I hope to go next yea. Thomas, RacerX and I all want to do that trip again! Everyone out there was great! Email me your address, I want to send you a little something for Jade....
Alberto
P.S. RacerX drove his own Original 74...wagon.... with 1/4 million miles on it! You will see some shots of it as we all drive up north this weekend to meet the NorCal guys!
Damn I love this site! How else would I travel the USA and get to meet tons of people and eat at the food at their houses....Dave...
That's what it's about people!

I agree Ironman, Pintony was a huge addition to the site, a wealth of knowledge. He was (is) very passionate about Pintos, mainly '71-'73's and he spoke his mind about them. C'mon back Pintony!!
BTW, could he be the "hidden" user?
I think we all miss having pintony around

Srt,
You could always rebuild the one you replaced....
