Title: '73 Shop manual
Post by: dgatien on August 17, 2004, 07:43:04 AM
I'm new to fixing up cars (although I know a fair bit about them) and definitely new to pintos.  I'm wondering if there is a shop manual for a '73 out there.  The closest I could find is 75-80 Pinto an Bobcat Manual (although I'm not sure the best place to look either).

I have the 75-80 Haynes manual, even though my Pintos are a '72 and '74. Much of the data still pertains. About the only thing you would need are resources for the 2.0L engine (if that's what your car has). The only engines covered in the 75-80 Haynes manual are the 2.3L and 2.8L. You may find 2.0 info in another Ford vehicle manual that your local parts store can get.
