Hullo there,

I am actually trying to research the lima designed ford ranger 2.3/2.5L SOHC 4 banger, and the closest I have been able to come is the pinto.

Does anybody know of any rescources that have any sort of history of the design...engine changes and lineage for either the pinto 2000cc or the lima 2.3/2.5L?

Any help is more than appreciated ;D

BAT inc has a catalog just for Merkurs and the 2.3(you may download the pdf below or at their web site, below too). I see they have a short history of the Lima engine.
