So I went on vacation for a week and left the windows on my Pinto rolled up. It rained a bunch while I was gone. The weatherstripping on my door glass is dried out and cracked and I haven't replaced it yet. I opened my passenger door when I got back and a bunch of water sloshed out a slot in the back. I waggled the door around and more water sloshed out. I checed the bottom of the door and discovered that tere ae no drain holes! I promptly got my drill and made two drain holes on the very bottom of each door, one at the front and one at the back. The driver's door was still dry, but the passenger door drained about two and a half cups of water! :o I will be putting POR-15 on the inside of both doors, but they are still solid.
If you haven't done so already, I recommend adding some drain holes to the bottom of your doors.
