Yes, a few, BUT it depends on your definition of 'front'.

Are you saying it is leaking TRANNY FLUID out from the bell house area?

If so, it most likely is the front pump seal, but it could be the t-converter drain, split T-converter, bad cooler line, or someting else.

The seal is easy to change, but you need to remove the tranny or the engine to do it.

I just changed the front seal on a C3, that was leaking like a faucet.

I have had GREAT success with Lucas tranny treatment, but it all depends on what is wrong as to how good a job it will do.

I heard that this is typical for the C3? Is that true?

Anyhoo, my old C3 was leaking, but I'm fixing it by swapping in a turbo engine and world class T5.  :afro:

Not sure how the topic changed.  There is a publication called "Electrical & Vacuum Trouble-Shooting Manual" (EVTM) that was published for the later Pintos.  It is published for specific years and models.  The 1980 Pinto EVTM has vacuum diagrams for: heater/AC, power brakes, auto trans, and engine.  Below are links to some of the 1980 Pinto EVTM's on ebay at the moment.
