im now running on megasquirt and it sure feels different. ms1 with 85 lb injectors. some friends came over and helped with the swap and the second time i boosted it popped a head gasket!!!!!! guess i had hurt it prior to the ms1 install. well, ive swapped the head and gasket and its back up and running. just have to do some final tuning and go looking for a victim  you know, i gotta break it in right!!
I really wish someone would come up with a MS book for idiots. It would make my life easier. Whats the issue with the gasket? Timing? Seams like a common problem until the tune is correct.

I applaud anyone that has the ability to tackle the Mega squirt. I went to their site and I was overwhelmed.
Yeah, It is very overwhelming. what we really need is a " good " base map and pointers like pulse width and stuff like that.
my problem started prior to the swap to megasquirt. i was running on the la3 with the holset and 17 lbs of boost with 35lb injectors. im sure i hurt it while this setup was running. the megasquirt swap went nicely and the gasket blew at only 5 lbs of boost, so it was on the verge already. 5 lbs felt better than 17 lbs on the la3 did. smooth and strong. wes is going to do the final tuning on it as soon as i can get up to charolote (sp?). im looking for just one time sliip that says 10.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx and then it will be just a quick street car from that point on. dont know if i can do it with the setup as is since i can only run 20 lbs of boost right now. need the mapdaddy sensor so i can get to the 25 to 28 lbs im looking for.
I have the MS2 with the map daddy just waiting for me to build the 2.3 turbo motor.
Here is a mustang forum that I`ve gotten some good info from...
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forums/2-3l-tech/
Some of those guys are running MS`s and may share a fuel/timing map.
Tell me about your experience with the MapDaddy.

I can`t tell you alot, it works the same as the stock MAP..
I don`t have anything that can take advanage of it at this time
How about it Steve, you got the caer running and tuned up yet? I should have the Turbo Toy running in the next couple of weeks on the MS II. Cant wait to see how it runs pushing the limits of the 4 bar Map Daddy. Give me a call if you need any help.
