well, the pinto finally fired up friday night at about 10pm. it doesnt run that well now, but it runs with no ticks or knocks. tonight or tomorrow i will start playing with the tune and see if i can get it going better. ill keep you updated and pics will be added soon.

Congratulations! Glad to see another turbo project up and running. Nothing quite like the feeling of firing up a project after all the busted knuckles and swearing. Keep us posted on your progress.
you know, its funny you say that. i busted one of my knuckles on this thing about 4 days ago and it seems that the only part of my hand that hits ANYTHING is that finger. go figure. i got up there today and set the tps, ran the exhaust, pulled the ic piping off to double check for leaks (and there were some), and started properly running the oil cooler lines. back to the bump and grind tomorrow. i did restart it with the exhaust run, its loud but sounds good. 3.5 that dumps in front of the axle with no muffler. sound semi quiet at idle but pretty obnoxious under full throttle.

alright guys, it drives. i took it for a drive up and down the lot. it got hot on me though. the guage isnt working and it seems the fan wouldnt turn on. ill get into it later. im just stoked it drove!!!

One question,... in the photo of the hood, there is a car beside it,.. is that a late 50's or early 60's volvo?
