I found the connection for my key buzzer and it got me thinking....I pulled what appeared to be a buzzer from an old Ford at the yard, and I thought it had two prongs that might match up with the connection. Sure enough, it did! I connected it but it didn't work until I tapped the "speaker" side of it.
So now I'm off to find a replacement part again. The part number on the buzzer is D2AB-13150-A1A, I will see if I can get a new number from ford in the morning.

I'v got those things in most of my cars. Been disconnecting them, always felt they were annoying. Maybe I aught to give them to you (ha ha)
Heres one for you.... and it based on the fact that I leave my keys in the car(s)
A while back, the "buzzer" is sounding off, but I paid no attention to it.
A day later when I got to the car, I found the battery dead.
Turns out I'd left the lights on, and its the SAME BUZZER.
Dammmmmmmmmmm, even the warning systems are working against me,,,,,,,,,Best Jim at jimspinto
