The big P.C.C.A sticker would be nice if it was applyable from the inside like the ride sticker,,, mine peeled away from my back window from the sun ...just a thought or I put to much soap in the water to place it ,,i think i put about 5 drops in a quart of water or maybe it was 5 drops of water in a quart of soap!!!!!!!!
this one.... it's not what I would call "big" but just curious...

I have one on the rear all glass hatch on my 78 daily driver... no problems with mine but then again we don't get to hot up here in northern Minnesota ;D
You lucky it`s been 100 here four weeks now!!!fire watch is on no camp fires allowed also sometimes its hard to get tree sap and grim off the windows and ive washed them with thinner to remove it..So if i got any on it it may come off too..but thats not what happened!!!!just a few of the small ones curled up,,but 100 outside could been 200 in the car thats hot...... and the ride sticker stayed on so thats why i said it would be nice if they where the same and they could be removed for cleaning.....but it`s just a idea i had and sometime`s there no good....ha ha ha
Yeah, I feel you pain! In Texas, we had 29 days over 100 degrees - small reprieve this week with remnants of the hurricane and now a "cold front" that brought us a few small showers and some sparse cloudiness. We tend to break our Summer heat, historically, about 2 weeks after labor day. Can't wait for it to cool down so I can get some more work done.

I grew up with summers like that.... now I never see 90, it's always humid, we get 2 months! of summer, can't drive the car because the bugs splatter the front end bad, if you stop the bugs will carry you off, we wear seat belts to keep that from happening ;D and it rains half the time... currently a downpour!
I miss summer....
I have a greeting postcard from Michigan and it has a giant mosquito image on the front with the caption "Michigan 's state bird." The stickers would not work on the inside of the glass if you have tinted windows as it would not show thru. A one foot diameter vinyl PCCA sticker would be great for a lot of uses. Super idea! Maybe they will make some up.
He's getting a new sticker..those stickers should be good for direct sun 5 years straight.
I have talked to him and I feel the culprit is cleaning the surface with lacquer thinner or mineral spirits. You should degrease the the glass with alcohol. Not anything to degrade the adhesive.
There is more use for a external sticker than a reversed interior sticker. And we aren't making money here so I'll do anything to reduce overhead.
All is good.

This is what I did... I have mounted on glass, plastic and the rear spoiler (paint) on my 73...
Looks good and sticks well, quality stickers from what I have seen. The 78 all glass hatch sticker on the daily driver is holding up well. The "big" Pinto sticker I got from Ebay that I put above the PCCA sticker... not so good, that sticker was junk when I bought it and is coming off. PCCA sticker looks like it will be there forever ;D
Say Frank... That "Big" Pinto sticker is coming off soon. Do you want me to pull it and send to you so you could make a similar one? I would buy 1 (or a couple) if you did... The quality was... junk... and if you did it like the PCCA sticker it would be worth the money to buy another. I also would like it to be a bit smaller so it would fit on top of the windshield... just a thought...
Some of that vinyl you get off ebay is pretty old...and vinyl is effected by age. whether its been processed or not, so even I have to watch my stock and make sure its not getting old.

they are "c-r-a-p" and since it's about 30% off now I don't think it will be that hard to remove it the rest of the way ;D
just depends if Frank wants it, I send for free, you're under no obligation to re-make it Frank.... but if you want it, it's your's ;D

I only have 1 of the big stickers...
I have 5 of the PCCA with 3 mounted and I cleaned the surfaces with Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) before applying the stickers.
