Title: started a v8 swap and i have questions?

1. i need to know what motor mounts will bolt up to my 79 pinto or if i'll have to make some.
2. its getting a 302 and a t5 and i need to know if i'll have to modify the fire wall.

1. I'm so confused as to what mounts are being used, there are some posts in FAQ. I think you can use two left side MII V8 mounts (if you can find them) but you still need to move the left frame mount back 1".  I made mine and personally I like mine better because it frees up much needed room in the stock mount area.
2. Yes, you need to modify the firewall slightly.
3. See my post, "71 V8 swap.....in this section, lots of info there.
4. PLAN, PLAN, PLAN!!! MAKE SURE this is what you want to do so you don't get bogged down and quit in the middle of your swap, because Pintony WILL get mad at you!  :mad: See his post "Stop V8 swaps in Pintos!"

believe me this is what i want. the car is just sittin there anyway i got a 89 mustang 2.3 i drive to work every day. 
i built a nice little 2.3 for the pinto and it just didn't have the kinda power i was wantin. i aint afraid of to tear cut it up the floor pans were gone when i got the car so i had to fabricate some. i went ahead and bent a roll cage for to the car had so much flex to it.
