I don't understand the ins and outs of "ebay"

However, I have a friend that deals on ebay all the time.  He puts his car on there, with a really stupid reserve amount.  Nobody would pay the "reserve price", I think he just likes to see what is bid, and then bases his ;idea of the value of his car on this information.

Seems you can pull the item off, at no charge (at a given time) and this is what he does

He got a reply once, from some kind of a "scam".  They (the scam people) sent him a check for $65000.00 (sixtyfive thousand), He framed it and posts it in his shop, both for a warning and a laugh

The car is worth maybe $8500.00 on a good day, and I think the highest he was ever bid, was about $5000.00.  He wouldn't sell it for the "high" bid, he just plays games

   Best,,,,,,,,,,Jim at jimspinto

That is a gorgeous wagon, and exactly the wagon I would want if I went looking.  Great color, squire trim p[ackage, woodgrain, even A/C and an automatic.  That being said, I wouldn't pay more than 2k for it...
