I just bought a MAP351 rear spoiler on Ebay for my 73 Pinto. Yes, checks in the mail.
I convinced wifey that I should get at least 3% better gas mileage and it could pay for itself in under 30 weeks at 550 miles + a week! PLEASE POST YOUR WIFEY/GIRLFRIEND JUSTIFICATION STORIES ALSO
Anyone else installed the MAP351 spoiler on their car?
I will be looking for a front spoiler next. It must be sturdy & half way good looking. Any leads?
I could not be seen in the front spoiler in this article...

Thank You Starliner!
Last week ( Brian) Cookieboy sent me the rest of the Hotpant kit, I,m going to make all the molds for the Hotpant glass and the wagon rear spats. In the works is a front spoiler/Air dam with selective ends to fit the different years.
I also have a rear spoiler for the wagons in the works too..
Another idea I'm working on is loosing the front bumper and building a full front airdam like this TVR Airdam i designed for SVRA TVRs..

Here's a picture of the front airdam on the "Cosworth Pinto" project. It's all steel, except for the brake ducts. I used the filler panel between the bumper and grille of a '73 as the template for the bends and breaks to match the original contour. Of course, the bumper is not used. Just thought you might like to see it, even though it's still in primer.
