Title: Personalized Pinto license plates
Post by: gordie on July 22, 2008, 09:03:05 PM
I was visiting a Kaiser Frazer site today and one of the members mentioned that he had seen a Pinto in his town with the license plates KABOOM.  I'll bet you guys have some great personalized plates on your Pinto's.  Care to share them with us?

This is the first tag (note the exp. date.  It's now 'on display' so my wife doesn't have to look at it.  Our tags have to be replaced every 5 years, so the new (same) tag is installed on Car.

Its a privet joke between Dick and I.
Hope your not REALLY offended, cus my "Boston, Hard English" accent (according to "that hillbilly") is difficult to follow also.
I dont really think I have an accent, its just that "the hillbilly" says I do (ha ha)

Anyway, what would those of us who speak "The Kings English" do if we couldnt poke fun at  "dem hillbilly's"

   Thanks,,,,,,,,,,,,,Jim at jims pinto

Hey old friend Tommy

So good to hear from you again. Let me explain this 'hillbilly' as in you & I. This
character named "Jim" who was responsible for "The Ohio Gathering" in July
thought that I talked funny, when in reality i didn't know what he was saying!!

All joking aside Jim is a fine man & I consider him another good friend, plus he did
one hell of a job getting the gathering together.  I hope you get a chance to come
north & see Us all again.
P.S.    Jim you would like Tommy he's like us.

best to all    Old Man  Dick

Re the X POSTAL license plate...

Was this pinto forest green by any chance? I seem to remember our local post office had metallic forest green pintos in their gov't fleet. Coincidentally I remember the local armory (to the San Diegans- the one in Kearny Mesa) employed same green mavericks.
