Well, as for progress, I have come to a grinding Halt. Unfortunately i do not have the money to put into the car at this time. Which really pisses me off, its the one thing i look forward to doing, I got a 2.9 for practically free but, well the block is cracked so I'm Scrapping it. Now a while back i had mentioned doing a 3.8 swap and alot of you thought that would prove interesting, and i got a lot of replies on it, mainly to the point of needing to do welding and so forth. Speaking with a friend of the family over the last week, I have seen that it does not require alot of fabrication. more so it require's less then i would have anticipated.  He has worked on cars since he was about 10-12 years old, and now is in his 50's. he knows a few things about pinto's since he owns a 76 Cruising wagon. has a nice 1967 Mustang 302 in it. and he did not get the V8 mounts from a mustang II but used the left side Long mount from a V6 model on the right side. Well going over bore/Stroke and what not with me he told me that the 3.8 is a 302 minus 2 Cyl. the bore /stroke are the same for both.

Now with that in mind. and new light. As soon as i have some cash to put into the bobcat it will have a 3.8 with standard .030 performance pistons and i will have the Crank rebalanced as well. Eventually i would like to see EFI on the car but thats not most important to me. getting the car back to Drivable is. I miss my car. I like having something to tote the family in but when i go to work I want to be able to leave the family car at home and take my car to work.

I have the car planned, as before i was just toying with Ideas, I'm sick of see my car sit, im sick of not being able to do anything for the poor thing as she sits waiting for me to be able to do anything other then Wash her off. (pardon the vent) but i miss driving my car. now all my plans are set in stone as what i will do. No more toying with Ideas time to hit the Bricks and get the ball moving again.
