Title: Windshield stuff
Post by: Ironman on July 14, 2008, 10:56:37 PM
1. how the heck do I get my windshield trim off without wrecking it?

2. where can I get a new gasket?

3. is there such a thing as a tinted windshield,.. not just a glare strip on top, bit tinted glass like some other AC cars have?

I had a 76 I put a 460 in and I ordered a tinted window from the glass place here in Norman...this is back in the late 90's. The tint was bronze looking at one angle but totally clear at the different angle...in that period their were a few high end cars offering this  new.
I think the glass was $700 special order. kewl looking at the time but I could find better things to do with the extra cash anymore..
Not even sure it's legal either, since it was a short lived fad.
