I have a D-port intake question.
« on: December 18, 2012, 10:02:34 PM »
I am running a D-port head and was woundering which intake would be better to run? One intake that I have is the early D-port (the one that a two barrel bolts to) and the other one I have is the EFI intake. I will be running a 350cfm Holley and want to know what flows better.

If the carb will clear your hood, the EFI is MUCH better. Much better!!!!
Its better to be a has-been, than a never was.

The 4 square EFI lower and an adapter works good.
I use the same intake, knife-edged with a 1 inch 4bbl spacer
tigged to it.

Thanks racer99 and dick1172762! I thought the efi was better, but wanted to find out. I will just put the early D-port on the shelf.

Thanks, again
