Is this a list for the future..., or a list after you completed the swap? Regardless, I'm glad you gave consideration and thought to the process. It seems almost weekly there is someone looking to "hang" a turbo on their stock Pinto engine or "drop" a 2.3T engine in their Pinto.
I really don't aim to be the discouraging voice, but too often these posts read of a lack of understanding of what really lies ahead to successfully complete the project. Hopefully your list will be a "reality check." I contrast these common posts to those of 65 Shelby Clone when he first started his project. He understood what was involved and is obviously skilled to meet the complexities of the swap. While there are a fair number who have successfully completed their 2.3T swap his is current, and ongoing, and I think a fine example of what the task requires.
I've said it a 1000 times now (so listen up kids..., here is 1001 - LOL) "On a scale of 10 doing a turbo Pinto seems like a 2 but in reality it is at least a 7." You need the money, the time, the tools and the skills to be successful. Otherwise, you are liable to end up with a disassembled Pinto and a pile of parts. And that would just be too :( .

I posted my trial and error. My car is a 72 pinto. I flew to Seatle and drove it back to Los Angeles California. At the time it had a 2.0, but I had already laid out a plan for the swap using all the turbo 2.3 parts I had collected form my Tbird turbo coupes and SVO's. I just got tired of all the smog rules, so I devised a plan to take a drive train and MAKE IT HAPPEN! I wanted a car that I didnt mind beating on or cutting up. A car that in the end would be something cool without hearing the purist talk of desecration.
Anyway if you go on the pinto FB page you will see my running "Pinturbo". I'm Not some kid making bogus talk about what he is dreaming of, but rather some older cat who laid out a plan and followed through.

This is not an expensive install if you now the right people, lay out a complete plan, and search CL and junk yards for a good deal. I did it, and I love it.
