Post by: turbopinto72 on April 23, 2022, 10:19:14 AM
Hate to bring bad news to the site but Yesterday Pintony , Tony Petersen passed away. He spent a lot of time bringing Pintos the attention they deserve. RIP Pintony .

Wow, I remember him being one of (if not THE) "Go To" guys when I first started here. My memories are him mailing me a few grill teeth just because I needed them and him letting me sit in the Mizar Pinto and taking my picture at Knott's. I remember a number of years back his son passing away. My condolences to the family. There is a mention on Cookieboys Toys FB page https://www.facebook.com/CookieboysToys/ (https://www.facebook.com/CookieboysToys/)

Wow, sorry to hear this.  I conversed with him a lot back in the day thru this site.  He was quite the early car expert.

Please pass my condolences to the family. I have heard so much about him, but never had the pleasure of meeting him in person.

Godspeed!  (There are Pintos in heaven...so no worries there!)
