Title: Partridge Family
Post by: dick1172762 on November 22, 2017, 09:33:48 AM
Sad to hear David Cassidy has pasted at only 67 years old. My family watched the Partridge Family every week while it was on tv. RIP David.

It DOES sort of hit home for those of us who remember David when he was young and "such a hunk!"  May he rest in peace.

I loved their school bus they used to travel. Of course they went far but the bus was neat. For years I wanted to use a bus to transport my various race cars. I've seen several. I would most likely have used their paint job. RIP David.

Believe it or not, I read somewhere that the bus was not preserved after the show.  It was such an iconic part of 1970's America that I simply assumed it would have found its way into a museum somewhere (like the Beverly Hillbillies truck) or, at the very least, a private collection.  My understanding is that was sold and repurposed after the show and ultimately ended up in a scrapyard.  What a shame!
