I just wanted to let you know that Doc passed away suddenly on Tuesday. He had gotten the flu a few weeks ago and due to problems with Asthma and COPD he never recovered.

Thank you for all the well wishes for my Daddy. He was an amazing father and friend, I was very lucky to have him for my Dad. And don't worry about the pinto, my husband and I will be keeping it on the road, flag flying just as Dad would of wanted it. He was definitely one of a kind and the world is a little bit more boring with out him.

Here's an old photo of Dad with the pinto and my bronco

And here's me and my Dad.

Here's another great pic I found of my Dad with his beloved pinto.

Fordchick79, I am so sorry to hear this. Doc was a great help to me in the early days after I joined Ford Pinto and started the rebuild on my 73. He helped with parts and advise and the few times I talked with him left me with the impression of what a great guy he was to know and call friend. He will be missed by many here as well as those that knew him. May he rest in peace and know that you and your family are in my thoughts during this difficult time.

I am glad for everyone's kind words about our Daddy. He was really a great Dad to his girls and an amazing grandpa and husband. We miss him a lot and it's nice to see how much he was really cared for by all who knew him. Thank you!

I owe him a debt of gratitude. He shipped me the side moldings for my wagon and even included a birthday card from my wife with it  ;D   I will think of him every time I drive my car now
