Z-Pinto Hybrid
« on: May 11, 2005, 12:21:29 AM »
I have just acquired a 1974 Datsun 240-Z, (independent rear-end!!!)   ;D  The front end of my Pinto got squished and it wrecked my 1972 Maverick grabber hood - bad, "lot of work"!!! sallvagable???  :P

I'm going to graft the 240-Z front noseclip to my Pinto with the grabber hood.  I'm also going to use the independent rear-end.  Still looking for AMX or early Eagle door handles and doors to graft.  ;D

Go fast, handle good, good thing.  Hope it all works, wish me luck!

Still working on pictures, should have them real soon.

I happened across your post in a search for something else, but it stopped me in my tracks.  I've been wanting to adopt the Maverick Grabber hood of my first car to my new hotrod Pinto.  Tell me all about yours and how you did it!  ;D
