Title: What is this ???? Does Wifey's car need this?
Post by: Starliner on February 04, 2012, 11:02:29 AM
I found this with no description on it's function:
"1977 To 1979 Ford Pinto Reinforcemnet Kit D6FZ-6210380"
What is this?  Where does it go and what is it's function?
Wifey's Pinto is a 1979 and I will be fixing it up this spring and summer.
Is this something that I should add to improve the car?
Or is this something already in her car and just a replacement part?

Thanks in advance for all your input

Hey Starliner:

I found your part in my Ford catalog.  Attached are two figures
showing information about the part.  The first figure shows the
part as 10380.  The second figure shows the description of the
part.

Hope this helps.

So it's not an upgrade, just an existing part.
That saves me from buying it!
Thanks for the information.
