I guess it's time to bring this one back to life, right now in wa. st. in my home town, regular gas was $2.51 a gallon. It cost almost $25.00 to fill my crusin wagon. I thought I would never see the day it would cost over 20 bucks to fill a pinto :o
I do what the voices in my Pinto tell me to do

Some of you may know that I haul gas for a living. Last week our wholesale price jumped 11 cents one night and 9 cents the next. Add to that .184 cents a gallon federal tax and .17 cents a gallon state tax. Ouch! My boss makes less when the price goes up he does better when it starts to drop. The big boys are the ones making it right now.

When I got gas in my Toyota at 10:30 it was $2.69 a gallon.. 20 minutes later I was driving my Pinto to put gas in it & it went up to 3.09 a gallon.. Now at 11:17 pm it's at 3.39 a gallon... all cuz of the hurracane... & to think I'm in reynoldsburg..

Good thing I got a toyota as the pinto's getting $hitty gas mileage, I think... the gas gauge done even work.

it's 2.79-3.05 here in East TN. It went as high as 3.50 yesterday as people panicked at rumors of a gas shortage. EVERY station I passed in my Pinto had LONG lines yesterday afternoon.

OUTRAGEOUS!

Saw super unleaded at 3.05/gallon and 3.07/gallon for the first time on Tuesday out in the rural areas....  the next day it went over 3.05 in town.
