Good photo of original Pinto Stallion!!
« on: March 31, 2009, 05:38:41 PM »
My dad and me were going through his car books and found this picture in a book titled "Detroit Cars".

Stallion paint scheme is what I have been planning for my 78 since I first saw it! :)

This link has the larger scan of the photo.

Hey Dave!

Thanks for posting this! I dig the Stallion's blacked out window frames, always have since the first time I saw it. The two-tone effect gives the illusion of 'flares' as opposed to the regular two-tones that had no trim or polished trim. Very sporty looking!

Chuck :afro:

P.S. My Mini Maverick Stallion & Matching black/silver trailer is in the second 8 track video while I'm looking around my room. There was also a Mustang II Stallion. Just like Sprints! ;D Too bad there were no Grabber Pintos :(

A virtual version of my last Pinto. Was Registered Ride #111. Missed every day.

I have seen more of the red base color than the silver.

If this car hadn't been all the way in Washington it would be in my driveway. Especially when the Buy it Now was $1600 bucks.
