I'm unemployed right now. No cash in hand for much of anything.  :'(
But that is my problem.  :D
I should stay off of craigslist. It's like being hungry and broke but watching the Food channel.  ;D

Well, I wouldn't say I want to restore it. Having a stock pretty much anything isn't my cup of tea. I would like to buy it, get it running/drivable, and then start working on modifying it. Eventually a V8, updated brakes, Centerline rims, 8 or 9 inch rear, etc. But I have learned my lesson on taking cars down to the frame/unibody. From now on I only do stuff that takes a weekend or so, to keep the car drivable.

Frankly I was hoping the seller was a member here and that we could work out some sort of deal where I could buy it on layaway. But since he doesn't seem to be that idea is out.

If it is meant to be it will be available when I get the cash. If not then I'll get something else. The main thing I like about this one is (at least according to the ad, always questionable) is the price AND the completeness. Being a Pinto is a bonus. Finding a car I like with both of those is rare. I really don't want a 1992 something or other. :-)
