The curse continues
« on: June 01, 2012, 09:01:53 AM »
It is currently 9:55am in New Stanton PA. At this time I was supposed to be at Carlisle already but disaster struck for me again!! Maaco was being a major pain in the butt & couldn't paint the front bumper filler & headlight buckets the right color so it delayed Dad's & my departure. We got on the road around 7pm & all was going well until we were coming up on the PA Turnpike just past the New Stanton exit. He hit the brake pedal & the brake light came on, along with the pedal going straight to the floor. We coasted to the berm & looked underneath. Brake fluid was all over the right rear tire. He walked back to the New Stanton exit & bought some brake fluid. No good. Still had no pedal. We limped the car around & got back to the New Stanton exit where we got a hotel for the night. I thought it was a rear wheel cylinder but it turns out it was the steel line that goes across the axle. He is going to get the line & we are going to replace it before getting on the road. Needless to say this is not what I had in mind but it's not like I wanted this to happen.

I am really considering never going back to Carlisle or the state of PA again!!!!!! Whenever I do something happens.

Hard for me to do when it was not connected up. It broke a while ago.
