Steele Rubber door weatherstrip
« on: September 23, 2011, 07:02:06 PM »
Just occurred to me - are wagon doors and sedan doors the same? In other words, can I buy the new door weatherstrip from Steele and expect it to fit on my wagon doors? Anyone know? thanks.

Don't know to be honest, but I bought & installed a set of the door weatherstrips on my 80 pinto, and they work great, highly recommend them.

Yes, they will work Chris. The wagon doors are the same, the only difference is the window frame for a wagon is straight on top and runabout/sedans are slightly curved to match the body line. The gasket has enough slack to work for each.

Awesome, I will definitely get a set. I also need to get a windshield gasket, cowl seal, and door beltline weatherstrips.
