Sprint sunroof car

Hey guys,
Just wondering if there are any Sprint Sunroof cars out there? Anyone know how many sunroof cars were made in 72???

They do exist,  I have seen pictures of one for sale a couple years back.  No idea how many were made but I imagine it is super rare.  I think in general the crank back sunroof option is a rare find on the Pinto.

I looked at one that was for sale a couple of years ago.  If it had been in better condition I would have bought it.

There was a '75 for sale nearby here but it was not a sprint but an anniversary edition.  It had the sunroof but they were asking 7-8K for it although it was in pretty nice shape overall.  I just don't have the money for that.  I got one that has a really nice body and interior for a lot less so now I can spend the extra cash on engine and trans work.

there is a 77 hatchback in my local wrecking yard. im thinking of buying the popup sun roof for my 74 station wagon. i just hope i can find new seals

Is it a factory sunroof?  If so, the glass is different but I believe most of the fox body Mustang sunroof parts (79-93) will work on Pinto's.  I had the two side by side years ago and they both shared a lot of the same components.  THe only difference I saw was the shape of the glass.

Yes it is a factory crank sunroof. I finally got the car with a title! Its a Sprint sunroof car. Been setting in a junk yard sense 1986.. now the project begins! I now have all 3 Sprints, Mustang, Maverick and Pinto!
