Hey guys,
Just wondering if there are any Sprint Sunroof cars out there? Anyone know how many sunroof cars were made in 72???
Thanks, Chris AZ
P.S anyone going to the auctions in Jan here in AZ???

They do exist, I have seen pictures of one for sale a couple years back. No idea how many were made but I imagine it is super rare. I think in general the crank back sunroof option is a rare find on the Pinto.

I looked at one that was for sale a couple of years ago. If it had been in better condition I would have bought it.

There was a '75 for sale nearby here but it was not a sprint but an anniversary edition. It had the sunroof but they were asking 7-8K for it although it was in pretty nice shape overall. I just don't have the money for that. I got one that has a really nice body and interior for a lot less so now I can spend the extra cash on engine and trans work.

Mine's a '72 sunroof car.

Is it a factory sunroof? If so, the glass is different but I believe most of the fox body Mustang sunroof parts (79-93) will work on Pinto's. I had the two side by side years ago and they both shared a lot of the same components. THe only difference I saw was the shape of the glass.

Yes it is a factory crank sunroof. I finally got the car with a title! Its a Sprint sunroof car. Been setting in a junk yard sense 1986.. now the project begins! I now have all 3 Sprints, Mustang, Maverick and Pinto!
