Shortblock
« on: October 05, 2003, 11:42:00 PM »
Does anyone have or know of anyone who can put together a 2300cc/140ci shortblock engine for a somewhat decent price?  I am going to get my heads re-built, and i believe it might be cheaper to get a shortblock than to re-build the engine.  If anyone can get back to this, i'd really appreciate it.

Andy, you could probably do it yourself.  Just get the block machiened and buy the appropiate berrings, gaskets, rings and pistions and a good book.

Thats what I would do. Use plasti-gauge to check your bearings. It's easy to use.
