Pick Your Part 50% off sale (September)
« on: August 31, 2013, 07:52:38 PM »
The Pick Your Part in Sun Valley, CA.  is having their near every month 50% off sale this Friday-Sunday. Not much to report. The 76 Bobcat is still there (V-6/Auto), but parts have been removed.  Today I took the Windshield as a spare ($20.40 out the door).  There is also a Mustang II in the very back. Probably most noteworthy is the 8"/3.00 rear.

71 Hanto, I feel bad that I miss directed you last time. The early 70's Squire Wagon was at near by U-Pull Parts, not Pick Your Part.  Anyway, it is still there (2.0/Auto).

Sadly most of these cars are not in the greatest condition after 35-40 years. Sheet metal, glass and ...??? (a few lesser parts).

No worries Tom. I really got what I was looking for off the Bobcat anyway. I didn't need anything off the wagon. I was just interested in checking it out. Our conversation lead to Fred Morgan offering me a really really clean 71 fender to replace the bondo sculpture on my street Pinto along with some other parts for both me and my son's 71 (thanks Fred!). It all worked out well. Thanks for the Pick Your Parts tip!
