Redundant Notifications?
« on: May 25, 2021, 09:48:52 AM »
Is anyone else getting redundant notifications to posts you are following that have a send date going back as far as a week or more. This started last night (Monday, May 24th) and so far I've gotten about ten of them.

I have not, but I am wondering if I triggered yours as I have been posting a large number of updates on my pandemic project? If it is mine that triggered your notifications, I believe you can turn off the notifications, by unclicking the "notify me of replies" on the bottom of the message board.  Maybe Dwayne can tell you how, if I am mistaken?

My apologies, and Happy Motoring!

Nope, wasn't you.  Below are the notification that showed up on May 24th, one going back as far as May 11th. Even the newest one was three days old (May 21st).  They just kept rolling in the other night. Click on the image to enlarge.

I got a few of those Monday also... the last entry on each of these threads was one that I had written.  Some sort of glitch, I suppose.  Haven't seen anything unusual since then.

Whew!  That's good to hear that it wasn't me!  I know that I am new around here, and I sure don't want to ruffle feathers!  LOL. :-)

That is why I have a love/hate relationship with technology!  However, at the same time, I admit technology has helped my Pandemic project a lot as I was able to locate parts, to socialize with other Pinto owners, and to see the world!  :-)
