Rear Leaf Spring Stock LB Rating?
« on: October 01, 2009, 11:38:39 AM »
I'm wondering what the stock pound ratin was for the rear leaf springs on a 1979 Pinto (not a station wagon).  Racer Walsh recommends for cars under 2300 lbs 100LBS LR/125LBS RR.  I replaced the left rear 9 years ago but can't find a receipt.  I suspect my mechanic got the part from a local supplier for stock OEM application (not performance or track use).  I'd like to get a match to stock rating.  Anyone know what that would be?

I'm in upstate New York zip code 14892.  Thanks, Raymond
