postal pintos
« on: April 16, 2013, 02:17:01 PM »
I remember about 1992 I read in my Postal magazine for employees (Postal Life) that the Post Offfice was donating decommisioned Pintos to a city to use in parking meter enforcement. Just wondering if anyone knows what city that was, I do not remember. Still looking for another Postal Pinto! I got one in 1991 and drove it for years and sold it to a guy who said he was going to fix it up but scrapped it. Still a little upset about that! I have one I bought off a guy thats rusted beyond hope.  Just curious...

All the Postal Pintos were left hand drive. A rare Postal car that IS RHD is the 1967 Ambassadors the PO had when I first worked there in the '70's.
