Pinto Times Subscription Information
« on: April 12, 2012, 07:13:25 PM »
Ok, I picked up the magazine this morning and I will be leaving the house to take it to the post office so it goes out tonight. By my count I have forty subscribers, half a dozen of so which go to Ford Motor Company. This issue completes the initial subscription run of four issues. It took much longer than it should have, and that fault lies with me. My family suffered some severe blows in the last two years and it was unavoidable. I'm glad to get this out to everyone and I hope you enjoy it. If by chance your issue doesn't arrive, contact me here via private message and give me all your info and I'll get it out to you right away. Primarily I need your name and address and that should do it.

Here is where I need to be to financially make this work for another year. I have to raise the price of the subscription to $40 for four issues, and I need to bump my number of subscribers up to 200. That would essentially put me at a break even point, outside of any advertising I might be able to sell. I guarantee the magazine will be out every three months come hell or high water, but this is what I need to do. I don't know if we can get to that number or not, it seems pretty big from where I'm sitting. I guess the best way to proceed is to put the info out here and let people start signing up. I can post a tally every week to let folks know where we stand, and I won't deposit any checks till we either get all the way in or crap out.

Let's give it a go. I'm learning to weld! And right now, I'm off to the post office...

Just got back from the post office, so they are officially in the hands of the U.S. Mail. God help us all...

Incidentally, I do have some of issues 1 through 4 if anyone ever wants the original issues it will be the same price as the new subscription, but supplies are limited.
