Near-Perfect Pinto Squire...May Put Her Up For Sale....
« on: May 30, 2012, 10:18:54 AM »

Sadly, I may put my Squire up for sale soon. This is not an emergency sale, just want to move on and maybe fix up another Pinto. I wanted to post here first in case any club members are interested. I have about $9,000 into this car, but realize I may not get that much (or maybe I will?). The highest I've seen for a similar car is $12,000. Feel free to make in offer. Some stats ; info:

* 2.0 auto, 61K original miles to the best of my knowledge (looks like it has 25K...really)
* Runs perfectly
* Near-perfect interior; no signs of wear - even dashboard is original and uncracked; plastic in back is not faded (this car must not have spent time in the sun!)
* Wood paneling looks perfect; it was replaced with 3M
* A/C works, but not charged
* Zero known rust...I can't find a speck of rust anywhere
* Good compression, and does not burn oil
* Very slow oil leak from engine and differential
* No dings and dents on the car
* Painting has been retouched in some areas, and looks great
* New carpet
* Owners manual and window sticker (Marti)
* Original brochures
* Lots of replaced parts...new whitewalls, hoses, brakes, on and on
* Extra dash cover provided for protection, but original dash looks brand new

Pictures coming...
