Just goes to show, the drive train of our Pinto's is basically bullet proof. The body may be gone but the drive train is still going! Show me a Vega in that condition still driving! :)

Heck you have to give him some credit. At least it was a marine/ boating approved fuel cell.

If he stuck it in the tire well & ran a longer fuel line zip tied under the car nobody would be the wiser. I bet the oil & filter in that engine hasn't been changed since he bought the car.

There was a Vega wagon in the same warehouse where I found my Pinto. Spotless interior, decent paint, and only 60000 miles. Unfortunately, I could find nothing good, in my research on Vega's, unless I planned on yanking the engine.
