Pinto racer...
« on: December 30, 2011, 02:29:24 PM »
Older brother has been going through his old pictures & sending me them, along with the stories about them. Thought a few here would like this one.

The Pinto is Bruce Sizemore at Cayuga. I thought he ran I/gas,but it is J/gas here. This is basically a pro stock car with a Ford 6cyl in it.No J or I on back window.I met him at Roushes shop in Detroit in 76.It was a straight 6 with three sections of 351 clev.heads all welded together, with clev.pro stock pistons and rods.A clev. pro stock motor with 6cyls ! He destroyed the record by 6 tenths! Not one hundreds, tenths! He won the Grandnationals  that year I think.Probably everything else too.
