Hood/Carb Clearance
« on: April 25, 2013, 08:26:02 PM »
I am installing a 2 bbl Ford/Motorcraft carburetor on an Offenhauser 4 bbl intake manifold on my 2300 engine using a 2bbl adapter.  This is in a 1980 wagon.  Will I have a problem with hood clearance and if so how can I get around this without cutting the hood?
I feel I need more get up and go so I am making some changes to the top of the 2300 engine, does anyone have any recommendation?  Caburetion is a big question as is ignition, I only use this for highway and street use.
Where might I find control parts for the heating and air conditioning unit, as well as a window washer control for my 1980 wagon?
