Pinto Pick-up "Poni"
« on: December 14, 2014, 09:48:36 PM »
I'm not sure if this has been posted before. I did a search on this site and did not find anything.  Under a Hemmings article titled "Cars With Beds" there is mention of a kit that was available for the Pinto called the "Poni." It basically converted a Pinto wagon into a pickup truck.  The article states that only 12 kits were ever made. And, in the article the builder asks, "if any are still around."  http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/category/trucks-and-jeeps/cars-with-beds/page/3/ Please scroll down to the bottom.

I'm familiar with the Pinchero's on this site, but I believe they are one off builds.  Since I have not seen these mentioned here I thought I'd post the link. My apology if it has been done before.
