Olympic Sprint
« on: July 06, 2012, 03:23:34 PM »
Hey guys,
I just joined the Fourm! I am a 71-3 Mustang/Cougar guy, I have a 72 Sprint Mustang and I think I need all 3 Sprints, Mustang, Maverick and a Pinto. I am going to look at Sprint Pinto tomorow, the door tag should be 9A for white? And Sprint trim KB? My Mustang is HB for trim..
Thanks for any help,
Chris AZ

Chris, I have seen several different sprint pintos in person and pictures... been saving door tags and have found there are several trim codes used. I ?think? off the top of my head KB is one but I have also seen GBC (see picture, only one available on this PC) since I have seen so many codes on sprints I am unsure and unwilling to say "for fact" which are which and if any are "correct" for a sprint. I can sometimes identify a Sprint with pictures, inside, outside and quality if the car hasn't been repainted or hacked up/body and interior parts swapped...

These links show Sprint ID tags.  Not sure where they are located on the car.
