Oldies But Goodies
« on: July 27, 2013, 04:40:21 PM »
I put together a small collection of "in the day" vintage photos of Pintos. The good old film days... I love the hair dos, side burns, and clothes in some of them. I just happen to be in one of them...
Post'em if you've got'em I would love to see more.

Cool photos.

I remember one of my Parents Pinto and I looked through all kinds of slides they had but couldn't find it. Still need to go through photo albums of hers to see if it is in there. Would love to find it.

I have come to realize that I am powerless to cuteness of a rusty old Pinto.

I love 'em... especially the stock ones, the everyday Pintos with people going about their lives. I can't pick a favorite, though... I love the dark sedan with the white vinyl-top, but then again I love the ones that look just like Ruby RedHot... then there's the Sprint... Oh, and that '73 wagon with the lady and her German shepherd... then there's the Squire...  :D
One can never have too many Pintos!

My scanner wont load in my new laptop for some reason so I had to take a pic of the pics to put these up. It's the 1st Pinto I ever rode in. I was 16 & it belonged to my buddy Brian who was 17. He bought it from his cousin in '82(when we took these pics) who built it a few years earlier. A few years later he sold it back & I'm almost positive they still own it.

I can't remember all the details but It was supposed to be a 74 with a 76 grille. Nice metallic brown repaint with a tan interior. Nearly stock 302/C4 with tarantula headers.
'73 Sedan (I'll get to it)
'76 Wagon driver
'80 hatch(Restoring to be my son's 1st car)~Callisto
'71 half hatch (bucket list Pinto)~Ghost
