Has a manual shifter, no clutch pedal and an auto trans brake pedal.

Exactly! I spend so much time looking at the interior pictures of Pick Your Part cars (because they don't say transmission type in the inventory description - not too smart of them) that noticing these things is almost second nature.

Leland B, a friend of mine modified a Dodge Colt to have a hand operated hydraulic clutch for handicapped drivers.   I think it was his senior engineering project.  No idea what was going on here.    Maybe a half of a manual conversion.

l just saw this car up for sale at a wrecking yard in Cali.....no keys no title. $1,000 or it's going to the crusher. l noticed the brake pedal/shifter as well
If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?

Yea, "no title" seems to be a theme with cars on Craigslist. Many offer a "bill of sale" but in California that gets you - NOTHING. BTW, the ad says "clean title." There are services (I'm told often run by former/retired DMV workers) but even there the chance exists that you still can't get a title. There is a bond that can be purchased but I'm not sure how that works or how much it costs. I'd assume it pays the real owner if they ever come out of the wood work.

Where and which yard did you see the Pinto wagon in? It is stated to be in Santa Maria.

I'll also point out that the shift knob and possibly arm is from a Fox body.
'72 Runabout - 2.3T, T5, MegaSquirt-II, 8", 5-lugs, big brakes.
'68 Mustang - Built roller 302, Toploader, 9", etc.
