new power steering line
« on: August 03, 2013, 09:12:29 AM »
The car blew the pressure power steering line.  I didn't think it would be a big deal to get it replaced.... Till I called the parts places around me!!  Was told they don't make them anymore. I was slack jawed....

No idea if anyone has gotten into this problem before.  I don't have time to get someone to send me one, ford car show Monday coming up, so...

went to a pipe/hose shop to see what they could do for this fix.  They were able to cut the fittings, place in a set of new fittings with new high pressure hose and ba-boom  new line ready to go for 53 bucks.

Anyone else have this problem?

I don't even try to find power sterering, brake, et.c hoses any more. For anyone that is within driving distance of Tacoma Wa, I have all mine made at Williams Oil Filter Service on Puyallup Ave. If you go there you can go accross the street to the Pegasus Restaurant, where my wagon was in the movie. and have some good eats!
