My other Pinto 1978
« on: February 16, 2013, 09:35:10 AM »
As some of you know I own a 1980 Pinto Rallye, but be fore I got it a year ago, I also own a 1978 Pinto. I installed new pistons, rings ,header exhaust, had the seats recovered etc. You probably have read some of the prior posts about it. My problem is I Love Old Fords and I would have a Barn full of them if I only had the SPACE. I have a one stall Garage on my house. I own a 80Pinto, 78Pinto, 73Maverick, 05 Mustang and lots of Parts. (see where Iam going with this?) I hope to find the right home in the future where its possibile to store all my cars in one spot. I have cars Storage at all ends of the town. I have been looking ,but havent come across that just perfect home to purchase yet. I am thinking of parting with the 78 Pinto ,but havent made up my mind yet.  :P I really would like to see this car completed ,I have too my projects on my plate right now.

I guess I like to hoard Old Ford cars and Parts. ::)   Kirk

bottom pic is what i wanted to make it look like   :D

Hoarders would crap when they look in my garages lol.

The moment I sell something is when I need it & then I have to buy it. Once my cars are together I'll sell off my excess inventory except for some replacement parts.

I agree but I only have one stall garage at this point. I think I am going to list the 78 in spring. I just hate seeing it stand idle, it could be a very nice car.

I had planned to put up a new 20 x 40 garage with my tax return but thanks to the Obama tax increase on the wealthy who can afford it (I make under 50K) my taxes went up 6000 dollars. There went my garage, some landscaping & the interior I was gonna have a shop put in my wagon. So now those businesses lose revenue as well.

Amen to that. I just hope I can afford gas by spring. Since the agenda is to get it above 7 bucks a gallon; we have not yet begun to suffer......
