Mustang II frame dimensions
« on: August 19, 2015, 11:05:49 PM »
Hi yall!

Does anyone have, or could possibly get me, the engine bay dimensions of a Mustang II w/302 motor? I'm not sure if the Mustang II's frame rails are the same for 4cyl and V8.

What I need is the distance of the frame rails from frame mount to frame mount.

My dad is going to build a wood box frame to drop my 302 onto for transporting it back to Idaho. We plan to leave the engine mounted to the motor mounts, and the motor mounts mounted to the frame mounts, and just drop the motor with the mounts into a heavy duty wood box mock up "frame", and bolt it into place to keep it from rolling all around.

Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated!

Dave

Thanks dick1172762. I looked around on there but couldn't find anything regarding frame dimensions or measurements. :(

Dianne, thank you!
