I'm not sure what the intentions of the upgrade were but boy, does the home page load a LOT faster. Like five times faster.  I for one greatly appreciate it.  Things look a bit less cluttered too. Styles come and go, but simplicity associated with speed wins in my book every time.  Thanks!  :)
